Meet the team

Ana

For over 20 years, Ana has brought her artistic vision to life through illustration, concept design, and pre-production. Her career began in her early twenties, where she honed her skills in visual storytelling and character design by working on animation projects for advertisements and music videos.

While her day job keeps her focused on creating seamless user experiences (UX) for clients, Ana’s passion for illustration continues to flourish. Outside of work, she dives into personal projects, keeping her creative fire burning and her finger on the pulse of the latest design trends.

Ana joined the Astrocats team as the final member, but her impact has been undeniable. Her keen eye for design spearheaded a complete project transformation, resulting in the modern, captivating aesthetic we see today.

Lord Bieron

Several years of independent writing has led him to work on several personal projects including Astrocats, DnD Adventures, and small scripts. A former educator, he brings a “witty and nerdy energy” from the years of spending too much time being a nerd, and living inside of nerd culture since the early 90s. A fan of many things sci-fi, Astrocats is a natural fit for him. He currently is a voice actor, writer, and editor for Astrocats.

David Holt

David Holt brings his 20 years of theatrical experience, 15 year stand up comedy experience, and degree in Theatre from UNC-Wilmington to his concept that is Astrocats.  Having gotten his start in Fayetteville, N.C. at Cape Fear Regional, he has since worked in Florida, Texas, and Tennessee.  His time in Florida saw him working for Walt Disney World on their entertainment side.  His time at UNC-Wilmington, Texas, and brief time in Tennessee saw him hone his stand-up comedy, even auditioning for Last Comic Standing on several occasions, skit writing, and voice acting.  These experiences Allowed him to come up with the concept that would become Captain Hobbes and the Astrocats back in 2017, 1 year after getting the real life Captain Hobbes.  Since then it has snowballed into a multimedia endeavor that he maintains with his old Dungeon Master Lord Bieron as a writer, and the “too skilled to be here” Artist that is Ana.

David Retired from the Astrocats project in 2023.
